Dannon Shen

Mr. Shen is a Principal and the General Counsel of Shoreline Capital. Prior to joining Shoreline, Mr. Shen worked with a leading Chinese commercial bank and more recently a top law firm on their distressed asset and private equity deals. As a lawyer, he contributed to the collection and disposal of assets in connection with the liquidation of Guangdong International Trust and Investment Corporation (GITIC), which was the largest liquidation in China’s recent history. He has also been involved in dozens of M&A deals, private equity financings, NPL workouts and foreign direct investment projects. Mr. Shen holds a Masters of Law and Accounting from the London School of Economics, an LLM in Banking and Finance from University College of London, a Masters in International Economic Law from Xiamen University and a law degree from Beijing University. Mr. Shen has published a series of academic articles on Chinese banking, tax, payment systems and corporate governance.
